The Imbert Award
The Association of Security Consultants encourage the development of ideas from the UK’s leading academia for the advancement of risk and security management through the presentation of the ‘Imbert Award’ which is in memory of our former patron, Lord Imbert of New Romney CVO QPM JP, former Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police and Lord Lieutenant of Greater London. The Imbert Award is presented annually to the best master's degree dissertation on a security related subject. It is fiercely competed for by students from universities across the UK with the overall winner being announced at the ASC Awards Dinner held at the House of Lords.
The Mike Cahalane Award
The Mike Cahalane Award is a prestigious accolade presented annually by the Association of Security Consultants to an independent security consultant in recognition of outstanding contributions they have made in the field of security consultancy.
The Award has gained significant recognition since its inception in 2017 as it not only highlights individual excellence but also aims to inspire others in the industry to strive for similar levels of achievement and integrity in their work.
The award honours the legacy of Mike Cahalane, who was renowned for his dedication and contributions to the industry and himself exemplified the highest standards of professionalism, serving as a benchmark for excellence in security consultancy.
