Following his time in the British Army, Frank joined the security industry, and he has been operating in the High Security Sector for over 20 years.

Frank spent 12 years in the Middle East working with CNI, Oil & Gas, Military, Royal Guard and Police, advising on all aspects of risk, security, and protection.

Frank joined the ASC seven years ago, whilst still based in the Middle East, but wanting to keep his contact with the UK to ensure his skills were current, to network and remain in contact with his peers within the industry.

When he returned to the UK, he formed the Critec Group to continue providing security consulting services and to build on the experience he gained in the CNI, blast analysis and mitigation specialist areas. Critec now has 20+ personnel and are forging forward in the water utilities and CNI sectors.

This year Frank volunteered his services to the ASC to help build the relationship and engagement with the Security Director/Manager Corporate Sector.

Frank said “I was honoured to be co-opted to the Board. I am a supporter of training and continued development, especially security industry centric qualifications, this offers people at any level to see a clear career path within the security industry and remain within the sector. The ASC have been operating for over 30 years. I am excited to be able to use this opportunity to build on the ASC’s development programs and ensure the association remains current and relevant within the sector and to be seen as the ‘Go To’ organisation for security advice.”
