A former senior Scotland Yard officer. Since 2006 I have worked independently, mostly on international capacity building in the security sector, primarily in relation to counter terrorism, investigation and policing. I am a Deployable Civilian Expert member of the UK Stabilisation Group. As Owner/Director of Praemunitus Ltd. I have designed, led and delivered award-winning counter terrorism and investigation capacity and capabilities across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean on behalf of government and non-government clients.
 

I was appointed as a Member of the Most Honourable Order of the British Empire (MBE) by King Charles III in the 2023 King's Birthday Honours for 'Services to Security, Counter Terrorism and International Security Capacity Building'.

Winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award in the 2023 Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs).
