The ASC are pleased to announce the finalists in this year’s Imbert Award.
The ASC Imbert Award is awarded annually to the best master’s degree dissertation on a security-related subject. It is fiercely competed for by students from universities across the UK. The overall winner is announced at the ASC Awards Dinner held at the House of Lords in December.
Gary Thomas, ASC Chair said “The high level of the entries this year leaves me speechless. It is so exciting that there are people of such great calibre, considering such a wide range of issues, within the security industry. I thank my fellow judges, Nigel Cook, Lee Doddridge and Michael McDonagh for their diligence in the judging stages and I hope they enjoyed the experience as much as I did - it is so exciting to see such talent coming through the academic system. I thank everyone who has submitted dissertations and the support of the universities in this process that allows us to celebrate new talent. I look forward to meeting all the finalists and the representatives of the universities at the Awards Dinner in December.”
